The SN74LVC04ANS is a hex inverter from TI's 74LVC series — six independent NOT gates in a single 14-SOIC package. Output drive is 24 mA source and 24 mA sink at the rated supply — enough to drive a few standard-logic loads or a low-power LED directly without a buffer. Propagation delay is 4.3 ns typical at 3.3 V into 50 pF, which keeps the part fast enough for most general-purpose logic and level-translation tasks below 100 MHz.
14-SOIC footprint, surface-mount assembly
Housed in a 14-SOIC package (5.30 mm body width, 0.209-inch pitch), the SN74LVC04ANS is a standard surface-mount part that reflows on any leaded-solder profile. Supplied in a tube, not tape-and-reel. For a prototype run or a low-volume repair, the tube is fine; for a pick-and-place line, you will want to transfer to a feeder-compatible carrier or order a tape-and-reel variant if one exists in the family.
Active production, ROHS3 compliant
For a BOM that already uses 74LVC-family logic, this part drops in without a supply-rail change.
