Quad NOR gate for low-voltage logic buses
The SN74LVC02AD packs four independent 2-input NOR gates in a single 14-SOIC package, drawing just 1 µA quiescent current from a 1.65V to 3.6V supply rail — a fit for battery-powered or 3.3V-core logic where every microamp matters. Each gate sinks or sources 24 mA at the output, enough to drive a handful of downstream CMOS inputs or a low-power LED indicator without a buffer stage.
Propagation delay and temperature range
Maximum propagation delay is 4.2 ns at 3.3 V into a 50 pF load — the signal stays clean through a few metres of PCB trace at moderate clock rates, but the delay adds up across a multi-gate chain, so budget it in the timing closure. Input thresholds are specified as 0.7V–0.8V low and 1.7V–2V high across the supply range, so it interprets a 1.8V-logic signal correctly when running on a 3.3V rail.
Active lifecycle and compliance
RoHS3 compliant and packaged in a standard SOIC-14 body (3.90 mm wide, 0.154" pitch) that reflows on a common lead-free profile with MSL 1 — no bake required before placement.
