8-bit parallel-load shift register in 16-SOIC
The SN74LV165ADRG3 is an 8-bit parallel-load shift register from Texas Instruments' 74LV low-voltage CMOS logic family. It accepts eight bits of data in parallel and shifts them out serially, or it can operate as a serial-in/serial-out shift register. The complementary outputs (Q and Q-bar) give the downstream logic a clean inverted signal without an external inverter.
Active production, ROHS3 compliant
The reel format is standard for pick-and-place lines; store the reels in a dry cabinet if the MSL rating calls for it — the SOIC package typically carries MSL 1 or 2, but verify the label on the reel.
