The Texas Instruments SN74LS368AN is a 74LS-series inverting buffer with 3-state outputs, packaged in a 16-pin DIP (0.300" body) for through-hole mounting. Internally it contains two elements: one 2-bit and one 4-bit, giving a total of six inverting channels. The 3-state output lets you connect multiple buffers to a common bus — when the output enable is inactive, the pin goes high-impedance and doesn't load the line.

The rated output drive is 2.6 mA sourcing (logic high) and 24 mA sinking (logic low). That asymmetric ratio is typical for LS TTL: the low-level sink is the stronger leg, so the part is best at pulling a bus line low through a pull-up resistor.
