The supply range is strictly 4.75V to 5.25V, so this part cannot be used in a 3.3V system without a level translator. The 74LS logic family is designed for 5V TTL rails; the input thresholds and output levels are not compatible with lower-voltage logic families like LVC or LVTH. If your bus is 3.3V, look at the 74LVTH or 74LVC series instead.
It is not specified for industrial or automotive temperature ranges, so avoid it in outdoor telecom, engine-bay electronics, or factory-floor applications that see -40°C or 85°C+.
Output current: 24mA sink, 2.6mA source
The asymmetric drive — 24mA low-level sink versus 2.6mA high-level source — is typical of TTL outputs. When driving a capacitive load or a long trace, the rise time will be slower than the fall time because the source current is roughly one-tenth the sink current. Budget extra propagation delay on the rising edge if the load exceeds a few TTL gate inputs.
