The Texas Instruments SN74HCT14DBR is a hex inverter with Schmitt-trigger inputs from the 74HCT series. The 30 ns maximum propagation delay at 5.5 V and 50 pF load sets the timing floor for the signal path — enough margin for 10 MHz clock distribution or debounced switch inputs without worrying about race conditions.
