Quad AND gate with Schmitt-trigger inputs and open-drain outputs
The SN74HCS09PWR is a Texas Instruments 74HCS-series quad 2-input AND gate with Schmitt-trigger inputs and open-drain outputs. The open-drain output can sink up to 7.8 mA per channel, allowing wired-AND bus configurations or driving LEDs and optocouplers without an external buffer. Propagation delay is 11 ns max at 6 V with a 50 pF load, so the part fits into timing-critical paths where the 74HCS family's balanced speed and noise margin are needed.
