Dual 4-input NAND gate in 14-TSSOP
The SN74HC20PWT is a dual 4-input NAND gate from Texas Instruments' 74HC series, packaged in a 14-TSSOP (0.173", 4.40mm width) surface-mount package. With two independent circuits each having four inputs, this gate implements the NAND function per the 74HC family logic levels: low-level input threshold from 0.5V to 1.8V and high-level from 1.5V to 4.2V, depending on supply voltage.
Propagation delay and output drive
Maximum propagation delay is 19ns at 6V with a 50pF load — this sets the timing budget for the downstream logic. The output can source or sink 5.2mA per channel, sufficient for driving standard CMOS inputs or a single TTL load. Quiescent current is a maximum of 2 µA, making this gate suitable for battery-powered or low-standby applications where the logic block is idle between operations.
Texas Instruments provides RoHS, REACH, and material declaration documentation for this part. It is a standard 74HC logic product without automotive (AEC-Q) qualification, suited for general-purpose industrial and consumer applications.
