Triple 3-input AND gate in the 74HC family
The SN74HC11DT is a Texas Instruments triple 3-input AND gate from the 74HC high-speed CMOS logic family. It integrates three independent AND gates, each with three inputs, in a single 14-SOIC package. Operating from a 2V to 6V supply, it delivers 5.2mA output drive current per channel — sufficient for driving one or two standard CMOS loads or a single TTL load at the same voltage rail. Propagation delay is 17ns typical at 6V with a 50pF load, setting the maximum toggle rate for the downstream logic.
Supply voltage and logic threshold fit
The 2-6V supply range covers 3.3V and 5V logic rails common in mixed-voltage systems. Input logic-low threshold is 0.5V to 1.8V; logic-high is 1.5V to 4.2V — these levels are TTL-compatible, so the gate interfaces directly with 5V TTL outputs without a level translator. Quiescent current is 2 µA max, making the part suitable for battery-powered or always-on circuits where standby draw matters.
Package and board integration
Housed in a 14-SOIC package (0.154-inch body width, 3.90mm), the SN74HC11DT uses the standard SOIC-14 footprint — a 1.27mm pitch, gull-wing leads. The supplier device package is also 14-SOIC, so no footprint variation between the order code and the physical part. Surface-mount assembly with Tape & Reel or Cut Tape packaging options. The reel quantity suits automated pick-and-place lines; Cut Tape works for prototype or low-volume builds.
