Triple 3-input NAND in SOIC-14
The SN74HC10DR is a Texas Instruments 74HC-series triple 3-input NAND gate in a 14-SOIC package. It performs the Boolean NAND function across three independent gates, each with three inputs — a common glue-logic building block for gating, decoding, and signal conditioning on mixed-voltage boards.
Timing and drive for the layout engineer
Maximum propagation delay is 16 ns at 6 V supply driving a 50 pF load — the figure that sets the data-rate ceiling through the gate. At 3.3 V the delay will be higher; budget the worst-case path across the three series gates when the signal chain includes multiple NAND stages. Output drive is symmetric at 5.2 mA source and sink, enough to switch one or two standard CMOS inputs on the same board. Quiescent current maxes at 2 µA, so the gate adds negligible draw to a battery-powered or energy-harvesting rail. The 14-SOIC body is 3.90 mm wide with a 1.27 mm lead pitch — a standard footprint that routes cleanly on two-layer boards. The supplier device package is 14-SOIC; the tape-and-reel option (TR) feeds pick-and-place without a reel change.
