Product details

The SN74HC10D is a triple 3-input NAND gate from the 74HC family, in a 14-SOIC package. It operates from 2V to 6V supply, making it a drop-in for 3.3V or 5V digital logic buses in mixed-voltage boards. Each of the three gates sinks or sources 5.2 mA at the output, enough to drive a single standard CMOS load or a low-power LED indicator without a buffer.

Timing and supply margins for BOM fit

Maximum propagation delay is 16 ns at 6V with a 50 pF load. The 74LVC10AD has a 4.7 ns delay at 3.3V. Input logic thresholds are 0.5V to 1.8V for low and 1.5V to 4.2V for high, which means the gate reliably interprets 3.3V CMOS levels but may not cleanly read 1.8V logic without a level shifter. Quiescent current maxes at 2 µA, negligible for battery-powered or always-on subsystems where every microamp counts.

Production is current. ROHS3 compliant and lead-free.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the SN74HC10D and the SN74LVC10AD?

It also has 24 mA output drive vs 5.2 mA. However, the LVC part requires a 1.65V to 3.6V supply and cannot run on 5V.

Is the SN74HC10D RoHS compliant?

Yes, it is ROHS3 compliant per Texas Instruments.
