8-TSSOP bus switch for 5 V signal routing
The SN74CBT3306CPWR is a dual single-pole single-throw bus switch from the 74CBT family, packing two independent 1:1 circuits into an 8-TSSOP package. Each switch connects a signal path with minimal propagation delay — essentially a low-ON-resistance FET pass gate that isolates or connects digital lines under logic control.
Footprint and board integration
No exposed thermal pad, so the board layout is straightforward: route the A and B ports on opposite sides of the package, tie the OE pins to the logic that controls the switch, and decouple the VCC pin with a 0.1 µF cap near the pin.
