Bus switch for voltage-translating signal isolation
This part is designed for hot-insertion and live-board applications where signal isolation and voltage-level translation between different supply domains are needed, such as in telecom line cards, base stations, and industrial backplanes.
Supply voltage and signal compatibility
The single-supply architecture means the switch's pass transistor tracks the supply rail, so a 3.3V VCC yields a low on-state resistance that preserves signal integrity for standard 3.3V CMOS or LVTTL levels. At 2.5V operation, the switch still provides adequate drive for 2.5V logic, making it a clean fit for mixed-voltage boards where a dedicated translator IC would add cost and board area.
Package and footprint for production
For prototype or low-volume builds, the cut-tape option is also available. The surface-mount package suits double-sided PCB layouts common in compact telecom and industrial modules.
