Product details

Triple open-drain buffer for low-voltage buses

The Texas Instruments SN74AUP3G07DCUR is a triple non-inverting buffer with open-drain outputs, part of the 74AUP ultra-low-power logic family. Each of the three buffers sinks up to 4 mA on the low side; the high side is open-drain, so you pull it up to whatever voltage the downstream logic needs — handy for level translation between a 1.2 V MCU and a 3.3 V peripheral.

Supply range and open-drain flexibility

Open-drain outputs let you wire multiple buffers together for a wired-OR interrupt or status line, or pull up to a different voltage than VCC for mixed-voltage signalling. The 4 mA sink current is modest but sufficient for driving a single CMOS load or a low-speed LED indicator.

Housed in an 8-VSSOP (2.30 mm width) package, this part is surface-mount only. ROHS3 compliant per the listing, so it passes the usual EU material restrictions without an exemption.

That means no last-time-buy pressure and no forced redesign on the horizon.
