Supply range and input flexibility
The SN74AUP1G97YFPR: Three inputs feed a configurable multiple-function gate that you can program as AND, OR, NAND, NOR, XOR, or inverter depending on the pin strapping — a single BOM line covers glue-logic variants that otherwise require separate part numbers. Schmitt-trigger inputs on all three pins clean up slow or noisy edges — the gate won't oscillate on a rising edge from a mechanical switch or a sensor with long rise time.
Package and temperature grade
Housed in a 6-DSBGA (6-bump die-size ball-grid array) measuring roughly 1.0 mm × 1.5 mm — the footprint fits under a passives-packed area on a smartphone or IoT module PCB where every square millimetre is budgeted.
Output drive and lifecycle
Output sources and sinks 4 mA at the rated supply voltage — sufficient to drive the input of a following logic gate, a small LED indicator, or a low-power transistor base, but not a relay coil or high-capacitance bus without a buffer.
