Configurable gate in the 74AUP family
The SN74AUP1G57DBVT is a single-gate configurable multiple-function logic device from Texas Instruments' 74AUP series, the industry's lowest-power logic family. It integrates three inputs into one output with a user-defined logic function — AND, OR, NAND, NOR, XOR, XNOR, inverter, or buffer — selected by the input pin states, not by an external configuration register. Operating from 0.8V to 3.6V, it spans the full range from near-threshold digital cores to standard 3.3V I/O domains.
SOT-23-6 footprint and layout
Housed in a 6-pin SOT-23 package, the part occupies about 3 mm × 3 mm of board area. No thermal pad or exposed paddle — the package relies on the copper trace area for heat spreading; for dense layouts keep the trace width at least 0.25 mm on the supply pins to limit IR drop at 4mA.
Active lifecycle and compliance
The industrial temperature grade -40°C to 85°C covers most embedded, IoT, and telecom equipment environments. For extended automotive or military temp ranges, this is not the right part — look at the 74AUP1G57-Q1 variant if the BOM requires AEC-Q100.
