Single open-drain buffer for sub-1V logic rails
The open-drain output allows wired-OR connections and level translation to higher-voltage buses, with a sink current capability of 4 mA. Housed in a SOT-553 package (5-pin SOT), it fits space-constrained layouts on portable or IoT PCBs.
Supply range and open-drain utility
In a mixed-voltage system, the open-drain output can be pulled up to a different voltage than VCC, enabling bidirectional level shifting without an extra translator. The output sinks up to 4 mA, which drives standard LED indicators, optocoupler inputs, or logic inputs on downstream devices.
The SOT-553 package's small footprint helps with thermal coupling to the board, but the 4 mA output keeps self-heating minimal.
