Single NOR gate for low-power logic trees
The SN74AUP1G02DBVR is a single 2-input NOR gate from TI's 74AUP series, in a 5-pin SOT-23-5 package. It performs the NOR logic function on two inputs and outputs the complement of the OR result — a basic building block for glue logic, signal gating, or enable/disable circuits on a mixed-voltage board. Supply range is 0.8 V to 3.6 V, which means it runs directly off a 1.8 V rail without a separate regulator or level translator. That same part also works at 2.5 V or 3.3 V, so one BOM line covers multiple voltage domains across different board spins.
Quiescent current and propagation delay
Quiescent current is 500 nA maximum — essentially zero for a battery-powered device that spends most of its life in standby. The NOR gate's output stays valid with no load current draw, so it won't drain a coin cell between wake cycles. Maximum propagation delay is 6.4 ns at 3.3 V with a 30 pF load. That's fast enough for most general-purpose gating, clock-enable, or interrupt masking below about 50 MHz. At 1.8 V the delay will be higher but still fine for sub-20 MHz logic. Output drive is 4 mA source and 4 mA sink at the rated supply — enough to drive a single CMOS load or a short PCB trace, but not a long bus or a high-capacitance line. Plan a buffer if the fan-out exceeds one or two gates.
Temperature range and package
Rated for -40°C to +85°C ambient, which covers commercial and most industrial environments. The SOT-23-5 (SC-74A) footprint is widely used and easy to hand-solder or reflow; the part is also available in tape-and-reel for automated assembly. Lifecycle status is Active and RoHS3 compliant.
