Product details

Preset and Reset — not just a clocked flip-flop

The Set and Reset inputs are asynchronous and active-low. That means you can force the output high or low independent of the clock — useful for a power-on clear, a manual override, or a test-mode latch. The complementary outputs (Q and Q-bar) give you both polarities without an external inverter. Input capacitance is 2.5 pF, light enough to not load the driving gate.

Not automotive-grade (no AEC-Q100 claim), so not for under-hood or chassis-domain applications. The 8-VSSOP package is surface-mount only; no through-hole variant exists in this series.

No end-of-life notice or last-time-buy is in effect.

Frequently asked questions

Does SN74AUC1G74DCUR have preset and reset?

Yes, the SN74AUC1G74DCUR includes asynchronous Set (Preset) and Reset inputs, both active-low, allowing the output to be forced high or low independent of the clock.
