Ultra-low-voltage single buffer with open-drain output
Its open-drain output lets you wire-OR multiple signals or shift voltage levels with an external pull-up resistor. The single-bit element in a SOT-23-5 package makes it a compact choice for board-level glue logic in battery-powered or near-threshold designs.
The 0.8V to 2.7V supply range is the headline feature: this buffer works where standard 3.3V or 5V logic won't, such as sub-1V digital cores or energy-harvesting nodes. The open-drain output sinks 9 mA (low-level), so it drives a single CMOS input or a light LED, but not a relay coil or a long cable.
The SOT-23-5 package is standard for hand-assembly and rework, though the small footprint means a steady hand with tweezers.
No last-time-buy or obsolescence pressure. ROHS3 compliant.
