Device identity and BOM-fit parametrics
The SN74ALS645A-1NSR is an 8-bit non-inverting transceiver from the 74ALS family, with 3-state outputs that let you isolate the bus when the device is deselected — useful for shared data lines where multiple drivers contend for the same trace. Output drive is 15 mA sourcing and 24 mA sinking — enough for a loaded backplane or a bank of LED indicators without a buffer. That covers office equipment, lab instruments, and indoor industrial control panels — not engine bays or outdoor telecom cabinets.
Supplied on Tape & Reel (TR) with Cut Tape (CT) option. Store the reels in a dry cabinet below 30°C / 60% RH if the bake time on the label is expired — the SOIC body is not moisture-sensitive per JEDEC Level 1, but the reel label tells the story.
