13-input NAND gate in the 74ALS family
The SN74ALS133D is a single 13-input NAND gate from Texas Instruments' 74ALS logic family, housed in a 16-SOIC package. It performs the NAND function on 13 inputs — useful for wide-AND decoding in address or data-path logic where you need to detect a specific 13-bit pattern with one gate.
Supply and drive envelope
The output can source 400µA and sink 8mA, which drives one or two standard LS/ALS loads directly without a buffer. Propagation delay is 25ns max at 5V into 50pF, fast enough for most 5V synchronous logic running below 20 MHz.
Logic thresholds and temperature range
Input logic-low threshold is 0.8V, high threshold is 2V — these are the standard TTL-compatible levels, so the gate interfaces directly with 5V TTL, HCT, or ALS outputs without level translation. The commercial temperature range is 0°C to 70°C, suitable for indoor equipment, bench instruments, and telecom racks with controlled ambient.
