Triple 3-input NAND in 14-SOIC

What the 11 ns propagation delay means for timing closure
The 11 ns max propagation delay at 5 V and 50 pF sets the path budget for combinatorial logic between clock edges. In a 5 V system clocked at 33 MHz (30 ns period), a single gate consumes about one-third of the cycle — leaving headroom for interconnect and additional stages. The 8 mA output drive (I_OH/I_OL) is enough to drive up to four 74ALS inputs (fan-out of 4) without signal degradation. The 0.8 V low-level threshold and 2 V high-level threshold are standard TTL-compatible levels, so the gate interfaces directly with other 5 V TTL or ALS logic without translation.
