SC-70-5 footprint and 5V logic fit
The SN74AHCT1G00DCKR is a single 2-input NAND gate from the 74AHCT series, in a 5-pin SC-70-5 (SOT-353) package. This is the smallest footprint for a single gate — the 2.0 mm × 2.1 mm body with 0.65 mm pitch suits dense, space-constrained PCBs where a full SOIC or TSSOP would waste board area. It operates from a 4.5 V to 5.5 V supply rail, making it a drop-in for existing 5 V TTL logic systems. The input thresholds are 0.8 V low and 2 V high, which are compatible with 5 V CMOS and TTL families without external level shifting. Output drive is symmetric at 8 mA source and sink — enough to fan out to four or five standard 74AHCT loads directly, or to drive a single LED through a current-limiting resistor. The 7.9 ns max propagation delay at 5 V and 15 pF load keeps the gate fast enough for most general-purpose glue logic and clock distribution below 50 MHz.
Temperature grade and supply current for industrial use
The -40°C to 125°C operating temperature range covers industrial and automotive under-hood ambient. The quiescent supply current is a maximum of 1 µA, so the gate adds negligible static power draw in battery-powered or always-on circuits. The SC-70-5 package has a junction-to-ambient thermal resistance around 250°C/W. At 5 V and 8 mA output, the internal dissipation is under 50 mW, so self-heating is not a concern even at 125°C ambient.
