Single OR gate in a small SOT-23-5 footprint
The SN74AHC1G32DBVT is a single 2-input OR gate from Texas Instruments' 74AHC family, packaged in a 5-pin SOT-23-5 (SC-74A) surface-mount package. It operates from a 2V to 5.5V supply range, making it suitable for mixed-voltage logic interfaces where a 3.3V or 5V rail is present. With a maximum quiescent current of just 1 µA, this gate adds negligible static power draw to a battery-powered or always-on subsystem. The 8mA symmetrical output drive (source and sink) is enough to switch a small LED, drive the input of a downstream CMOS gate, or control a low-power transistor base.
Propagation delay and logic thresholds for timing closure
Maximum propagation delay is 7.5 ns at 5V with a 50 pF load. That figure sets the data-rate ceiling for a single-gate path — at 5V, the gate can cleanly pass a 66 MHz clock edge before the output rise time starts to degrade the eye. At lower supply voltages (2V), the delay increases per the 74AHC family characteristic, so budget extra margin if running near the logic family's speed limit. Input logic thresholds are specified as 0.5V to 1.65V for low-level and 1.5V to 3.85V for high-level across the 2V-5.5V supply range. This means the gate interprets a 1.8V signal as a valid high when powered at 3.3V, but at 5V supply the same 1.8V signal falls in the undefined region — level translation is required in that case.
Active production, ROHS3, and industrial temperature range
The SOT-23-5 package has a standard footprint with 0.95 mm pin pitch, compatible with most pick-and-place lines.
