Receiver only — not a transceiver
This is a pure receiver: zero drivers on board. If your link needs bidirectional data flow, you will pair it with a separate LVDS driver or use a transceiver like the SN65LVDS9637's sibling with integrated drivers. For unidirectional receive paths — say, a sensor data stream into an FPGA — the 0/2 driver/receiver count is exactly what you want.
