The Texas Instruments SN65LVDS86AQDGGRQ1 is a 48-pin LVDS serializer in the 65LVDS family, designed to drive flat-panel displays in automotive infotainment and cluster applications.
Supply rail and signal integrity
The LVDS interface delivers low-swing differential signalling that keeps EMI down on the long ribbon or FPC cable between the ECU and the display panel — a common pain point in automotive layouts where the display sits metres from the processor board.
Housed in a 48-TFSOP (0.240", 6.10mm Width) package, also referred to as 48-TSSOP, the 0.50 mm pitch demands a controlled-impedance PCB stack-up for the LVDS pairs.
