The Texas Instruments SN65LVDS84AQDGGRQ1 is a 4-channel LVDS driver from the FlatLink series, purpose-built for pushing parallel RGB or control data from a timing controller or GPU to an automotive-grade TFT display panel over a low-voltage differential pair. It is a pure unidirectional driver — 4 transmitters, no receivers on-chip — so the signal path is one-way from the source to the panel.
Automotive temperature range and what it buys you
That full automotive temperature span, combined with AEC-Q100 qualification, means the driver holds its LVDS output swing and timing across cold cranks and hot soak. If your bill of materials calls for an AEC-Q100-grade display link, this is the tier you need — not a commercial-temperature FlatLink variant.
