Quad LVDS receiver for short-reach serial links
It takes differential LVDS signals and converts them to single-ended CMOS levels, which is exactly what you need on the receiving end of a short-haul serial link, a backplane, or a cable interconnect. No transceiver here — this is a receiver only, so pair it with a separate LVDS driver on the other side of the cable.
At 200 Mbps per receiver, the SN65LVDS390DR handles 100 MHz clock or data with enough margin for most backplane and short-cable runs. If your design runs at 2.5V, you are looking at a different LVDS family. The 16-SOIC package is a standard footprint; orientation is clear from the pin-1 mark, so a field swap with a hot-air station or even a careful iron is doable — no lab bench required.
