Quad LVDS receiver for 400 Mbps serial links
The Texas Instruments SN65LVDS33PWRG4 is a quad-channel LVDS receiver in the 65LVDS family, designed to convert differential LVDS signals back to single-ended CMOS logic levels.
The 400 Mbps data rate per channel is the maximum serial bit rate the receiver can cleanly recover. In a typical backplane application running 200–300 Mbps, this leaves margin for cable skew and connector degradation. The 50 mV hysteresis is the dead zone around the switching threshold — it prevents the output from chattering when the differential input is slow-moving or has superimposed noise. For long cable runs or high-EMI environments, that hysteresis directly improves bit-error rate without needing a separate filter.
Supply and temperature — fit for industrial backplanes
The 16-TSSOP package (4.40 mm width) keeps the board footprint compact for dense channel counts.
