The Texas Instruments SN65LVDS32DG4 is a quad-channel LVDS receiver designed for high-speed differential signaling up to 100 Mbps per channel.
100 Mbps data rate — what it buys you
At 100 Mbps per channel, this receiver handles 12.5 MB/s of serial data on each of its four lanes. That is enough for a 720p video stream, a parallel bus serialized over four LVDS pairs, or a multi-axis encoder feedback link. The 100 Mbps ceiling also means the part is not overkill for slower interfaces — it works equally well at 10 Mbps or 50 Mbps with the same signal integrity, so you are not forced into a faster (and pricier) receiver just because the catalog shows a higher number.
