Where the 400 Mbps rating sets the limit
At 400 Mbps, each driver channel can serialize a 200 MHz clock or a 400 Mbps NRZ data stream. That's enough for 24-bit parallel RGB video at 1080p60 (about 148.5 MHz pixel clock) or a handful of 100BASE-T1 / CAN-FD bridge links. If your system needs 1 Gbps or more per pair, step up to the 65LVDS family's 630 Mbps or 1.5 Gbps siblings.
That means no last-time-buy deadline, no allocation scramble for new designs, and standard lead times through distribution. It's ROHS3 compliant, so it passes EU and Chinese RoHS requirements without an exemption. For volume quoting or scheduled releases, this part is a straightforward line item — no special handling or broker vetting needed.
Temperature range: industrial, not automotive
It is not AEC-Q100 qualified, so skip it for under-hood or chassis-mounted automotive designs unless you're willing to run your own qualification.
