Quad LVDS driver for 400 Mbps serial links
If your design lives in a controlled indoor environment, you still get the full margin. The 400 Mbps per-channel data rate is the headline number for serialiser-deserialiser links. At that speed, the differential swing stays within LVDS levels (typically 350 mV), keeping EMI low and allowing cable runs up to several metres with proper termination. For slower interfaces like SPI or UART extension, it runs clean well below its limit — no derating needed.
Package and footprint — what the rework bench sees
Housed in a 16-SOIC (0.209", 5.30 mm width) — the standard wide-body SOIC footprint. That's a rework-friendly package: hot-air removal is straightforward, and the 1.27 mm pitch gives good clearance for probing. The supplier device package is 16-SO, so any 16-pin wide SOIC land pattern works. Tape & Reel delivery means it feeds straight into a pick-and-place; no tube-handling hassle.
RoHS compliance is standard for this date code range — no lead-finish concerns for EU or RoHS-regulated markets.
