At 400 Mbps the receiver can handle 200 MHz clock signals or NRZ data streams with a 2.5 ns unit interval. That is enough for most LVDS video links, serializer-deserializer backchannels, or high-speed sensor interfaces. The single receiver channel means this is a point-to-point termination part, not a bus transceiver — you use one per differential pair. The SOT-23-5 package keeps the stub inductance low, which helps maintain the signal eye at the far end of a cable or backplane trace.
Supply voltage flexibility
In a mixed-voltage design where the FPGA core runs at 2.5 V and the I/O bank at 3.3 V, this receiver can sit on either rail without a level shifter. The input common-mode range is typical for LVDS (around 0 V to 2.4 V), so it accepts signals from a 3.3 V driver even when powered from a 2.5 V supply, as long as the common-mode stays within range.
