The SOT-23-5 package (SC-74A) saves board space in point-to-point serial links, clock distribution, or backplane receiver applications.
The 400 Mbps data rate is the maximum toggle rate the receiver can reliably recover from a differential LVDS input. For a 3.3V system, this leaves margin for 200 MHz clock recovery or 400 Mbps serial data streams. The 2.4V to 3.6V supply range covers the common 3.3V rail with headroom for 2.5V logic without a separate regulator. If your design runs a 1.8V core, this part will not work directly — you need a level translator or a lower-voltage LVDS receiver. The single receiver channel (0 drivers, 1 receiver) means this is a unidirectional receive-only device; pair it with a separate driver for a full link.
