630 Mbps — what that data rate means for your link budget
At 630 Mbps the output transitions are fast enough that PCB layout becomes part of the design. Keep the differential pair impedance-controlled to 100 Ω, minimise stub length, and place the driver as close to the connector as the board allows. The driver itself is a single-ended-to-differential converter — no receiver on-chip, so the far end needs an LVDS receiver or a transceiver with a differential input.
It is a current-production part qualified for new designs.
