What this LVDS crosspoint switch does
The Texas Instruments SN65LVDS122PW is a single-supply LVDS crosspoint switch in the 65LVDS family. Its 1 x 2:2 circuit routes any of two differential inputs to either of two outputs, giving you programmable signal steering for clock or data paths without external mux logic. Housed in a 16-TSSOP package (4.40 mm wide), surface-mount only, which keeps the board footprint small for dense backplane or mezzanine routing.
Listed as Active product status. ROHS3 compliant, which simplifies export and EU-market compliance without requiring a waiver or exemption check.
1 x 2:2 — what the circuit count buys you
One independent crosspoint with two inputs and two outputs. That means you can swap the signal path without adding a separate mux or relay — useful for redundancy switching, test-point insertion, or protocol-agnostic routing in LVDS links up to the device's rated speed.
