The 2 Gbps data rate tells you this part can handle serial streams at 2.5 Gb/s-class links without choking—common for Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, or high-speed ADC/DAC serial interfaces. The 470 ps propagation delay is the latency the device adds from input to output; that delay must be factored into your timing budget, especially for clock distribution where skew between multiple channels matters. The 0.6 pF input capacitance is low, so loading on the upstream driver is minimal—important when you are fanning out a single source to multiple receivers.
