100 Mbps full-duplex LVDS — what the data rate means for the link
This is a full-duplex LVDS transceiver with two differential drivers and two differential receivers, each rated for 100 Mbps. The 100 Mbps figure is the per-channel signaling rate; in a full-duplex link, one driver and one receiver handle the transmit path while the other pair handles the receive path simultaneously. For a 3.3 V backplane or cable interconnect, that data rate supports most parallel-bus serialization schemes up to 100 MHz equivalent throughput.
