Quad LVDS driver for point-to-point serial links
The SN65LVDS047DR: It is built for high-speed, low-power point-to-point serial links — think camera-to-ISP, display interface, backplane data transfer, or any differential pair run where common-mode noise rejection matters.
400 Mbps per channel — the signal-integrity budget
Each of the four drivers hits 400 Mbps, which is the practical ceiling for short-reach LVDS links over FR4 with a few inches of trace. At that rate the differential swing is typically 350 mV into a 100 Ω termination, keeping EMI low and eye opening clean. If your link runs longer than 10–12 inches or crosses a connector, budget for a pre-emphasis or cable-equalizer stage — the 65LVDS047 does not include internal cable conditioning. For backplane or inter-board links under a foot, it is a straight drop-in.
Industrial temperature range and 3.3 V supply
The 16-SOIC package is standard for manual or reflow assembly, and the part is ROHS3 compliant.
Listed as Active per the official lifecycle record.
