CANbus transceiver rated for 2 Mbps and 125°C junction
2 Mbps data rate and 125 mV hysteresis — what they mean for bus margin
Rated at 2 Mbps, this transceiver handles standard CAN 2.0 at 1 Mbps with headroom and supports CAN FD frames at the higher bit rate where the network topology allows. The 125 mV receiver hysteresis is a design-in parameter: it rejects common-mode noise on the differential bus, reducing false start-of-frame detection in electrically noisy environments like factory floors or engine bays. At 5 V nominal supply, the common-mode range is wide enough for long stub networks.
