CAN bus transceiver for 3.3V automotive and industrial nodes
The 100 mV receiver hysteresis provides good noise immunity on the bus, which matters in electrically noisy environments like motor drives or engine compartments. The single driver/receiver pair handles CAN bus arbitration.
The 1 Mbps data rate is the CAN bus maximum. The half-duplex architecture is standard for CAN — the bus is shared, so the transceiver drives the differential lines during transmission and listens the rest of the time. The 100 mV hysteresis filters out noise on the recessive-to-dominant transitions, which helps maintain bus integrity on long cable runs or in high-EMI environments.
The ROHS3 compliance covers current global environmental regulations.
