Active production, full-duplex RS-485 at 20 Mbps
Full-duplex operation lets the driver and receiver run simultaneously on separate twisted pairs, doubling throughput compared to half-duplex parts that must arbitrate the bus direction. At 20 Mbps, this transceiver supports high-speed polling loops in factory automation and real-time control networks where a half-duplex turn-around would add dead time. The 70 mV hysteresis on the receiver inputs rejects common-mode noise from long cable runs, reducing bit errors without external filtering.
