2.048 V ±0.2% — the accuracy floor for automotive ADC chains
Its ±0.2% initial tolerance sets the reference accuracy for the ADC or comparator — a 2.048 V output with a 4.096 mV worst-case error at 25 °C.
Low-frequency noise is specified at 27 µVp-p over 0.1 Hz to 10 Hz and 39 µVrms over 10 Hz to 10 kHz. For a 12-bit ADC with a 2.048 V reference, that noise contributes less than 0.5 LSB — it does not limit the converter's effective resolution. Supply current is 135 µA typical, which matters for always-on modules or battery-backed reference rails where every microamp counts.

It is rated for production use in automotive modules, not just prototype evaluation.
