Output drive and noise floor — what 25 mA and 36 µVp-p mean for the rail
The 25 mA output current capability lets this reference directly bias multiple ADC reference inputs or a small sensor bridge without an external buffer. The 36 µVp-p noise (0.1 Hz to 10 Hz) and 105 µVrms noise (10 Hz to 10 kHz) define the cleanest rail the reference can provide — for a 3.3 V rail, that's roughly 11 ppm of peak-to-peak low-frequency noise, which is low enough for 12-bit to 14-bit conversion without additional filtering in most automotive signal chains.

This means TI will continue manufacturing for existing customers through a last-time-buy window, but new designs should not commit to this order code. For a production BOM already qualified on this part, the procurement action is to estimate remaining lifetime demand and secure the LTB quantity before the final order cutoff.
SOT-23-3 footprint and supply range
The SOT-23-3 package (TO-236-3, SC-59 variant) is a three-pin surface-mount footprint common for small-signal devices — the same land pattern as a standard SOT-23 BJT or diode. The input supply range is 3.35 V to 5.5 V, which means the reference needs at least 50 mV of headroom above the 3.3 V output to regulate. Supply current is 50 µA typical, so the thermal load in the SOT-23-3 is negligible even at full 25 mA output.
