The Texas Instruments PLL1708DBQR is a PLL-based multi-clock generator that takes a single CMOS or crystal reference input and produces six CMOS clock outputs, each programmable up to 36.87 MHz. The 1:6 input-to-output ratio lets one low-frequency reference feed multiple clock domains on the board, reducing the number of discrete oscillators and the associated PCB area.
