16-Bit Audio DAC with Dual Supply Range
The PCM56U is a 16-bit digital-to-analog converter designed for audio applications, operating from a dual ±4.75V to ±13.2V supply. The 16-bit resolution and single-channel output target signal chains requiring moderate dynamic range, such as consumer or pro-audio playback stages. Data is transferred via a PCM interface, a serial protocol common in audio codecs and DSPs. The -25°C to 70°C operating temperature range covers commercial and most indoor equipment environments.
16-SOIC Package and Board Integration
The 1.27 mm pin pitch is compatible with conventional wave or reflow soldering profiles. Supplied in tube packaging, suitable for low-to-medium volume assembly or hand placement during rework and prototyping.
