The PCM5100APW is a Texas Instruments DirectPath™ stereo audio DAC supporting 16-bit, 24-bit, and 32-bit resolution with a maximum sampling rate of 384k samples per second. It is a 2-channel device using a PCM data interface, making it a direct fit for digital audio streams from I2S or left-justified sources without external master-clock generation.
Supply rails and temperature grade
The PCM5100APW operates from a 1.65 V to 3.46 V supply, with separate analog and digital supply sources — this split lets the analog rail run from a clean 3.3 V LDO while the digital core draws from the 1.8 V system rail, keeping PSRR out of the audio band. Rated for -25°C to 85°C operating temperature, it covers commercial and extended industrial environments but not full automotive grade — stay inside the absolute-maximum ratings table for junction temperature.
