Supply range and output swing — what it buys you
The OPA990IDCKR: Rail-to-rail output means the signal can swing within millivolts of each supply rail — useful when the ADC reference or comparator threshold sits near the rail.
Bandwidth and slew for sensor conditioning
The 130 µA supply current keeps the thermal budget low in dense boards.
Active lifecycle — no obsolescence clock ticking

SC-70-5 footprint — layout notes
The SC-70-5 (SOT-353) package has a 0.65 mm pitch and a 2.1 mm x 2.0 mm body — small enough for two-layer boards if the supply decoupling cap sits within 5 mm of the pin. The 80 mA output drive per channel is enough to bias a small relay coil or LED, but the power dissipation in a 40 V rail limits continuous current; derate per the package thermal impedance.
