Quad JFET op-amp for precision signal conditioning
The OPA4137U/2K5: The supply current per channel is just 220 µA, keeping the total quad draw under 1 mA.
JFET input — why the 5 pA bias matters
The 5 pA input bias current is the headline feature of a JFET op-amp. It lets the OPA4137U/2K5 interface directly with high-impedance sources like photodiode detectors, pH electrodes, or piezoelectric sensors without adding significant offset error from bias current flowing through source resistance. For a 1 MΩ source, 5 pA creates only 5 µV of additional offset — negligible in most precision circuits.
The 2K5 suffix indicates a 2500-unit reel (Tape & Reel), and the part is also available in Cut Tape for prototyping.
